LOOKING FOR LITERARY AGENT and PUBLISHER

Howdy folks,
Our momma has finished another book and it is called THE PAW PRINTS ON MY HEART. Samantha, our cat house sister, has been sitting on the back of the couch and has been investigating what momma has been typing as she sort of sneakily looks over her shoulder. She quietly reads to us as our momma types along. Heh, heh, heh.....funny how humans can't hear us talking amongst ourselves, and it is a good thing cuz Samantha gets wicked excited as she reads to us! That Samantha is a wicked good detective too cuz she has found some pretty darn good reading she sort of missed whilst she was watching momma typed and she sort of dozed off in a nap (that's her excuse), and she eagerly shares all of the stories with us as soon as they are finished. Samantha says that she thinks that this new book is the best darn stuff that momma has written, and we do too cuz we all sort of have shed a few tears as Samantha read to us. So has Runte and the Pepper cat, but neither one will admit to it. Yep, we saw their eyes leaking a time or two just like ours did! We even had Samantha sneak a sample reading from one of the chapters of the book, and it is under this letter of ours. Feel free to kick of your shoes and read it.
Anyway, If ya think ya know someone who might be interested, send them our way. We will be sure to give them a big ole sloppy kiss and a paw shake. We would hug them too, but we are big dogs and might accidently knock them over.

Love,

Miss Belle, Pepper, and Ulysses

Reading from THE PAWPRINTS ON MY HEART

Beau, Kipper, and Tracker, like all of our animals, when we brought each of you home we promised to always love and protect you and we did. We promised to have patience while teaching you wonderful things, and we did. Like all of our animals, you were all very special and never had to promise us anything, but you always showered us with unconditional love and affection, each building special places in our hearts.

Kipper, you were the chocolate child who never wanted to leave my side. Yours was the first face I saw in the morning, and you stayed by my side of the bed at night. You were the patient one who took pups, kittens, and other animals that came through our doors under your wing and nurtured them, something that is rare in male animals.

Tracker, the coppery dude that you were, you were always so happy and eager to track and find whatever it was I was working on with you. What great adventures our walks became because I never knew what delightful scent you would discover and were so eager to track. How happy you were when you found what you were searching for.  I miss your big ole goobers, your musical bay, and how you would snuggle with me, laying your great coppery head in my lap while you napped. I felt so helpless and all alone when you became so sick and I knew you would not recover.

Beau, we will always remember how you were the first to comfort us when we were feeling sad. You made us laugh with all of your antics and the tricks that you would pull on us and the other animals in our house, and no one was immune. And oh, how you would laugh at us in your own way when you were successful with your tricks that you frequently played on us. You brought smiles to kids and people of all ages. You also welcomed and nourished young animals no matter what species they were. Our hearts are so broken that you, like Kipper and Tracker, had to become sick so fast and leave this world and us behind, but we also have comfort in knowing that your illness was not long term where you had to suffer so great a time. We also have joy knowing that you were greeted happily and welcomed by Kipper and Tracker when you crossed that Rainbow Bridge, and that you are now well again, playing with them again like you used to. We know that you missed them both greatly when they suddenly died. We know that you will place a smile on our Heavenly Father’s face like you did us as you romp and play tricks on the angels that carried you there. We can just picture you borrowing their wings like you did our laundry, playing “Catch Me If You Can” as you did down here on earth. We know your journey on earth that our Heavenly Father planned for you has been completed, and it was time for you to go back and be with Him again. Our sweet Kipper, Beau, and Tracker you will never be forgotten along with all of our other animals that we have loved here on earth, for we know that we will all be together again someday.

Thus ends the earthly adventures of Kipper, Beau, and Tracker, the original two Labs and A Bloodhound, and I thank our Heavenly Father for all of the special time that we all had together here on the earth. I have all of the videos, pictures, and memories that we all created together, but most of all, forever will be the paw prints that you all have left in my heart. ©

Tracker, Kipper, & Beau

"A friend loves at all times."  Proverbs 17:17
God created all things and this must be why HE created "dog". Dogs are human's best friend. They are loyal, love unconditionally, are most forgiving, and will die protecting you. Please treat them and all animals kindly because they all are only loaned to us for a little while.
                     DOG is GOD spelled backwards.
